2019 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47

This 2019 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 is a purpose-built cruising catamaran with an owner's three-cabin layout and comprehensive upgrades for extended offshore passages. The twin Volvo D2-60 diesel engines deliver reliable power, while the catamaran's 47-foot length and 25-foot beam provide the spacious, stable platform the design is known for. The boat has been maintained with attention to systems redundancy and modern cruising comfort.

The interior centers on a bright saloon with well-equipped galley featuring an island bench, complemented by a full-beam master suite in the port hull with ensuite and walk-in shower. Two guest cabins in the starboard hull each have private heads. The catamaran's wide cockpit and extended swim platform connect to a hydraulic tender lift that carries a 13-foot AB tender with 20hp outboard. Six Dometic air conditioning units with individual controls serve the entire boat, while a Cummins Onan 13.5kW generator and 1200Ah lithium battery bank with dual 3000W inverters support independent cruising. A 2300W solar array and full Raymarine navigation suite including 16-inch chartplotter, Doppler radar, and autopilot round out the systems.

The boat is fitted with quality deck gear: Lewmar electric winches, ProFurl roller furling, Code 0 sail with sock, and a reefing system upgraded to single-line configuration. Teak decking covers the cockpit and helm areas. Recent work includes new saildrive seals, new anchor chain bridle, and propane tank replacement. The tender lift and swim platform are operated hydraulically, and a freshwater system with reverse osmosis provides independent water supply. Engine hours total approximately 2,500 and 2,600 respectively.
