The 2019 Hanse 548 is a 53-foot cruising sailboat built on a fiberglass hull and designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. The yacht combines comfortable long-distance cruising with responsive sailing performance. A fractional rig with self-tacking jib and electric winches at the helm station enables single-handed sailing even in demanding conditions. All halyards and sheets lead back to the helm for centralized control. The boat is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine of 110 horsepower with 1,275 engine hours as of July 2025.
The interior showcases an open, airy layout finished in French Oak throughout. The accommodation plan offers flexibility with either four or five cabins—the forward cabin can be divided to create an additional berth. Three full bathrooms serve the living spaces, and generous headroom runs consistently through the boat.
Equipment aboard includes a retractable bow thruster, two Eberspächer diesel heaters, a Seldén rig with three spreaders, and electric Lewmar winches. Navigation and sailing systems feature dual 12-inch B&G chart plotters with engine data input, complemented by B&G wind and sailing instruments and an autopilot. The mainsail is an Elvström FCL Performance model with triradial, full-batten construction.
