The 2019 Lagoon 42 is a composite catamaran built by Lagoon in France, designed by the VPLP Design team. She is powered by two 114 hp Yanmar diesel engines and measures 42 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, offering the wide platform stability and spacious accommodations catamarans are known for.
The layout includes three cabins and three heads, configured as an owner's version suited to family cruising or extended passages. The helm station features full enclosures and excellent sightlines. The rig is designed for ease of handling, with a self-tacking jib and all lines led to the helm, enabling single-handed operation.
Equipment aboard includes an 880-watt solar installation, an Ultra Whisper watermaker producing 17 gallons per hour, and a B&G navigation system. Full cockpit enclosures are fitted throughout.
