This 2019 Leopard 45 catamaran is built for extended cruising and comfortable living at anchor. The hull is fiberglass, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 90 horsepower each. The design forgoes a flybridge in favor of maximizing open deck space, finished with composite teak-style decking.
The interior accommodates four cabins and four heads across a 45-foot length and 24-foot beam. The galley features a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, an induction cooktop, and a dishwasher. The boat carries 780 liters of freshwater storage. A 30-gallon-per-hour watermaker supports extended time away from shore.
Power management centers on a custom system: 2,550 watts of solar panels, 2,300 ampere-hours of lithium battery capacity, a 5,000-watt Victron inverter/charger, and a 9-kilowatt Northern Lights generator. Dual Velair air conditioning units provide climate control throughout. The catamaran is outfitted with a fully battened mainsail and electric winches for manageable handling.
The boat carries modern navigation and cruising electronics installed throughout. It has not been used in bareboat charter service and has had limited captain experience—only the owners and one professional crew member have operated it during a brief period in a crewed charter program.
