The 2016 Lagoon 450 S Sportop is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 114-horsepower diesel engines. The Sportop configuration delivers a lower center of gravity compared to standard flybridge designs, enhancing sailing performance and integrating the helm station directly with the cockpit. This three-cabin owner's version accommodates cruising or extended liveaboard use.
Recent work has included structural reinforcement: a Lagoon-certified bulkhead repair and additional rear bulkhead reinforcement. The boat is equipped with a new Maxwell windlass with 300 feet of chain, a 3,300-watt solar array integrated with a Victron power management system, dual watermakers, and new standing rigging. A GoDu 12.5 aluminum tender with a 60-horsepower Tohatsu outboard is included, along with a custom-fabricated dive locker.
