This 2019 Leopard 50 is a fiberglass catamaran built for cruising and liveaboard comfort. The design combines protected helm station operations with an expansive flybridge featuring lounge seating, dining table, and sunbed with shade awning. A defining characteristic of Leopard's design is the direct sightline and access from the salon to the aft cockpit, promoting flow and visibility throughout the boat.
The layout accommodates four cabins and six heads, each cabin fitted with private ensuite facilities and separate shower areas. The berths are island-style, accessible from both sides, and the boat includes a dedicated utility room supporting extended cruising. The main saloon and upper lounge areas feature custom teak tables replacing fiberglass, and a custom hard-top cover protects the upper lounge. Mosquito screens are fitted to salon windows.
Power comes from two Yanmar diesel engines. The boat has been substantially upgraded and equipped for self-sufficiency and offshore passage-making. The lithium battery bank—five 300 Ah 12-volt units—was newly installed in 2024 alongside six additional solar panels. Other significant additions include a watermaker, Raymarine broadband radar, Mazu offshore satellite communication with mast-mounted cell booster, helm enclosure, and digital radar. Two extra sails (Code 0 and Code D) in excellent condition are included. The ground tackle comprises a stainless steel anchor with extra chain plus a second anchor. Additional systems include rope cutters, self-pitching Gori props, full USCG safety equipment with engine room fire suppression, washer/dryer, and six underwater lights. Bottom paint and running gear work is scheduled for June 2026.
