2019 Marsaudon Composites TS5

This 2019 Marsaudon Composites TS5 is a 51.8-foot performance catamaran built for fast, extended offshore cruising. Designed by Christophe Barreau under the ORC (Ocean Rider Catamarans) brand, it combines the responsiveness of a racing sailboat with the comfort and autonomy needed for long passages. The hull is composite construction, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 80 horsepower each.

The sailing plan features a fixed carbon mast, carbon forward beam, and a full complement of modern sail cloth—mainsail, jib, staysail, and gennaker—optimized for performance across varying conditions. The deck layout prioritizes safety and efficiency for ocean cruising. Below, the boat accommodates four cabins: an owner's suite and three guest cabins. Common spaces include a bright saloon and a well-appointed galley fitted with liquid-cooled refrigeration, a washing machine, and a 105-liter-per-hour watermaker.

The yacht is configured for self-sufficiency with 600 amp-hours of battery capacity, 600 watts of solar panels, a 3000-watt inverter, and a robust shore-power charger. Navigation and communication systems include a complete NKE electronics package and an Iridium system for ocean connectivity. The boat has been maintained with care and remains ready for immediate departure.
