This 2019 Outremer 51 catamaran is hull number 67, built in the V2 version. At 51 feet with a 25-foot beam, it combines the design principles of Barreau Neuman with proven ocean-crossing capability. The boat features a protected cockpit, exceptional load capacity for its class, and structural rigidity enhanced by carbon bulkheads and a composite forward crossbeam rigged for a storm jib.
The sail plan includes Incidence Hydranet sails from 2023 with a genoa, supported by four electric winches and two manual winches. Four carbon cloisons contribute to both strength and lightweight construction. Navigation systems include full B&G electronics, dual autopilots (primary and backup), and Starlink Mini for connectivity. The propulsion and systems package covers a generator, 1500 watts of solar panels, lithium battery banks, and a Dessalator watermaker producing 100 liters per hour. Climate control is provided by Webasto heating and air conditioning. Coppercoat was applied to the hull in 2024.
The boat has completed substantial cruising, departing the Mediterranean through the Atlantic, crossing to the Caribbean, transiting the Panama Canal, and voyaging through the South Pacific to reach Fiji. Throughout this passage, the yacht has demonstrated the reliability and performance the Outremer brand is known for among serious offshore sailors.
