2020 Aquila 44 Yacht

The 2020 Aquila 44 is a fiberglass power catamaran built for cruising comfort and efficiency. Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 640 horsepower drive the 45-foot hull, which spans over 21 feet in beam. The design combines a responsive platform with the spacious, airy layout the model is known for, featuring 360-degree sightlines from the salon and galley, plus an extensive flybridge for entertainment and observation.

The accommodations include three cabins and three heads, arranged to suit extended cruising or family use. The main areas—salon, galley, and flybridge—take full advantage of the catamaran's width and natural light. Recent improvements to this example include replacement of salon, flybridge, and foredeck cushions, waterproofing of flybridge storage, and renewal of all Sikaflex sealing throughout the hull.

The boat has received substantial systems upgrades: the battery bank was replaced with a 3,600Ah lithium battery system, the main inverter upgraded to a Victron Quatro 10KVA unit, and 2kW solar panels added. Power generation and consumption are monitored through a Victron system. A Spectra Watermaker (Newport 400c 12) with automated controls was installed, along with a fuel polishing system and tank transfer capability. Engine maintenance included replacement of both alternators and starter batteries.

Additional equipment includes a Starlink High Performance antenna, RayMarine Cyclone 55-watt 4-foot radar, SiONYX night vision camera, freshwater electric crew toilet, washing machine and heat pump dryer, and a DockMate TWIST. A Highfield CL310 dinghy comes with the yacht, paired with an ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus electric outboard and a Yamaha 15 HP backup outboard.
