2020 Cutwater C-28

The 2020 Cutwater C-28 is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a single Volvo Penta D4 diesel engine rated at 260 horsepower. The boat features Cutwater's keel-stepped hull design for enhanced ride quality and fuel efficiency, paired with classic down-east styling. It is trailerable, allowing convenient access to different waterways, and standard bow and stern thrusters assist with docking.

The forward cabin includes a convertible V-berth with custom mattress and a private head with shower. A mid-cabin berth, also fitted with a custom mattress, serves as additional sleeping space or a retreat for children. The galley and saloon area feature a bench seat with storage underneath. The self-bailing cockpit incorporates reversible seating integrated into the transom, flip-out seating on the port and starboard sides, and built-in cabinets for storage and refreshments. A custom transom platform with integral boarding ladder facilitates watersports and tender access.

The boat has been maintained in freshwater and is single-owner. Recent service work includes a full engine, transmission, and generator service. Custom additions include solar panels for power generation while at anchor, rod racks inside the cabin, and custom-made storage shelves. The cockpit features both raw water and fresh water wash-down capabilities, with the fresh water system doubling as a shower. The head has been converted to fresh-water flush operation. An electric hot water heater is installed, with engine heating capability as an alternative to preserve battery power. A 12-volt plug in the cockpit supplies power for inflatables.
