2026 Ranger Tugs R-23

The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-23 is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser built for trailering and built tough. Its 200-horsepower Yamaha outboard delivers efficient power, while the foam-filled hull and vinylester barrier coat ensure durability. The boat draws just 19 inches with the motor trimmed up, making it accessible to shallow waters and lock systems. It weighs 6,000 pounds dry and holds 80 gallons of fuel, 22 gallons of fresh water, and an 11-gallon holding tank.

The cabin maximizes light and livability through four opening roof hatches, a sliding glass bulkhead, two opening portlights, and a curved windshield. Inside, a forward stateroom sleeps two, a midship berth accommodates a third, and the dinette converts to additional sleeping space. The galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water. A full shower with enclosure and marine toilet with pump-out complete the accommodations.

Navigation and handling are well-provisioned. A 9-inch Garmin chartplotter with GPS and sonar, VHF radio with DSC capability, and compass provide situational awareness. A bow thruster, stern trim tabs, windlass with bow and helm controls, and electric trim tabs make docking and maneuvering straightforward. An 11-pound anchor with 50 feet of chain and 150 feet of line are included. The cockpit seats five or more and features rod holders, stainless sport racks, and a swim platform with ladder.

This example includes a 220-watt bi-facial solar panel and is finished in light gray. All systems are new, and the boat comes with an integrated trailer featuring brake, turn, and reverse lights.
