2020 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Catamaran

This 2020 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 is a five-cabin catamaran built for extended cruising and offshore sailing. The fiberglass hull spans 41 feet in length with a 24-foot beam, offering the stability and interior volume characteristic of the design. Two 100 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines provide propulsion, supported by a Panda 8 kW generator that powers onboard systems including separate refrigerator and freezer units, as well as a 105 L/h watermaker for complete independence at anchor.

The catamaran accommodates five cabins and five heads throughout. The layout includes a forward owner's cabin as part of its four-cabin configuration. Sail plan is augmented with a gennaker for performance on downwind courses. Navigation equipment includes radar for night and reduced-visibility sailing.

The spacious cockpit features an integrated grill for entertaining at anchor. An integral 3.3-meter tender with console and 20 hp outboard motor provides quick access to shore. The boat has been carefully maintained and is ready for sea.
