The Hallberg-Rassy 57 is a modern bluewater cruiser designed by Germán Frers, built to combine the yard's tradition of safety and seaworthiness with contemporary performance and comfort. Her powerful sail plan—mainsail, genoa, Code 0, and gennaker—delivers fast, efficient sailing easily managed by a small crew. The aluminium furling mast features hydraulic in-mast furling and outhaul, electric genoa furling, and electrically operated winches, allowing all sail handling from the helm. Twin rudders and twin helm stations provide precise control, while bow and stern thrusters simplify manoeuvring in tight quarters. A Dockmate remote docking system lets you handle mooring operations from anywhere on deck. The teak deck flows across the cockpit and fold-down bathing platform, with approximately 10,000 litres of storage distributed across a forward sail locker, anchor locker, cockpit lockers, and a large aft storage garage. Electric davits manage the dinghy launch and retrieval.
Below deck, the interior is finished in light European oak. The saloon features an L-shaped sofa, two armchairs, and a sofa, with a retractable 50-inch television. Three cabins, each with a double berth, provide comfortable accommodation. The galley is purpose-built for extended cruising, with a Miele induction stove and microwave, three top-loading refrigerator-freezer units, and an additional front-opening refrigerator. A washer-dryer is integrated into the aft head. Both heads include electric toilets. Air conditioning and a watermaker support comfort and independence on long voyages.
A Volvo Penta D4 diesel engine delivering 175 horsepower drives the yacht through an AquaDrive shaft system for smooth, quiet operation. Engine data integrates directly into the Raymarine navigation system. A substantial lithium battery bank pairs with an Onan 17.5kW generator to power onboard systems. Fuel capacity is 1,050 litres; fresh water capacity is 1,030 litres.
The sails include a new gennaker and Code 0 from Elvström, installed in 2022–2023, alongside an EPEX mainsail and genoa jib from the same maker. The induction stove was updated in 2024. Professional maintenance has been carried out throughout ownership, with indoor winter storage at Bröderna Martinsson Yard.
