2020 Lagoon 42

The 2020 Lagoon 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising and designed with serious offshore capability. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver dependable power, while the 25-foot beam provides the spacious, stable platform characteristic of the Lagoon design. A comprehensive electronics suite—including a 12-inch multifunction display, radar, AIS, and Starlink satellite internet—supports confident navigation in all conditions. The power generation system centers on 1,600 watts of solar panels, a watermaker, and an Onan generator, allowing independent operation away from shore infrastructure.

The three-cabin layout provides privacy and comfort for extended voyages. The owner's cabin on the starboard side includes an ensuite head. Two guest cabins on the port side each have their own ensuite head and separate shower. The galley is fully appointed with a three-burner cooktop, Eno gas oven with grill, and complete cookware and dishware. The salon features upgraded upholstery, and 12-volt fans serve both common areas and cabins.

Deck features include a full helm enclosure with removable panels, teak cockpit and transom, and a cockpit shower. A stainless steel dinghy hoist system supports a 2019 AB Inflatable dinghy with 15HP Yamaha outboard. The sail plan includes mainsail and genoa sails that were new in 2024, along with new halyards, jib sheets, and topping lift. A Quick windlass with remote control operates the 33-pound galvanized anchor and approximately 200 feet of chain. The boat carries two Yeti coolers, a Magma gas grill plus charcoal grill, and includes two kayaks and spearfishing equipment.
