2020 Lagoon 46

The 2020 Lagoon 46 is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable cruising and extended time at anchor. With its beam of nearly 27 feet, the hull delivers the spacious platform that defines modern cruising cats. Twin 114-horsepower Yammer diesel engines provide reliable power for 7–8 knot cruising under engine alone.

The boat is laid out in an Owner's Version configuration with an extended master cabin. The saloon is open and bright, featuring a galley-up design that keeps the cook connected to the rest of the space. Three generous cabins provide sleeping accommodations, while the cockpit includes a large dining table and seating area that connects directly into the main saloon. Forward, a second cockpit at the bow opens onto sun pads and seating—a sheltered outdoor space suited for quiet mornings or evening gathering when anchored.

Handling is designed for ease. The self-tacking jib, good sightlines from the helm, and lines led aft to the flybridge make single or short-handed operation practical. The cockpit layout supports comfortable cruising without constant attention.

The boat has undergone a substantial US$190,000 upgrade to its power and energy systems, including new solar panels and battery capacity. This system supports air-conditioning in the master cabin day and night without requiring the generator to run, substantially reducing engine noise and fuel use during anchoring and marina stays.
