This 2020 Leopard 40 is a fiberglass catamaran built by Robertson & Caine, the South African builder known for blue-water cruising cats. The design, developed by naval architects Simonis and Voogd alongside Robertson & Caine's team, balances speed and agility with increased hull volume. The interior layout is notably open: the galley sits forward, a forward-facing settee with windows and access to the bow platform creates sight lines through the saloon, and large sliding glass doors connect the main cabin to the aft cockpit, blending indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The four-cabin, two-head layout offers walk-around aft cabins and features a lighter ash interior throughout. The boat is powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 58 hp each. Equipment includes air conditioning, a generator, and electric davits for tender handling. A walk-through door provides access to the forward platform.
The boat carries an ash interior finish and shows relatively low engine hours for its age. The cabin arrangement includes the later-model walk-around aft cabin design.
