2020 Leopard 40

The 2020 Leopard 40 is a fiberglass catamaran designed by Robertson & Caine with naval architecture by Simonis-Voogd. This model reflects contemporary cruising design, featuring increased hull volume and an expanded window and door layout that opens the interior to the surrounding environment. The forward-facing galley sits adjacent to a large window and door accessing the forward platform, while the main salon combines a forward-facing settee and dining area with sliding glass doors that separate it from the aft cockpit. The design emphasizes ventilation and flow throughout the yacht.

The owner's version accommodates three cabins and two heads with an ash white interior finish. The galley, salon, and cockpit configuration creates an open-concept feel that makes the interior feel more spacious than the yacht's actual footprint. Two Yanmar diesel engines of 58 hp each provide propulsion for this 39-foot beam design.

Equipment includes a generator, air conditioning, and solar panels mounted on the hard top Bimini canopy to charge the battery bank. The yacht has been regularly maintained and is undergoing a complete phase-out maintenance program.
