2020 X-Yachts Xp 50

The 2020 X-Yachts Xp 50 is a high-performance cruiser-racer built with epoxy infusion construction for stiffness and weight efficiency. The hull features a carbon keel structure with an iron fin and lead bulb, precision-engineered for stability and ballast ratio. Power comes from an 80-horsepower Yammer diesel engine. The boat is equipped with a carbon mast, carbon rigging, and a set of Harken Performa winches—one electric and five manual. A custom keel and rudder were fitted to optimize racing performance.

The interior comprises three cabins and two heads, with generous cruising accommodations. The main deck features a maxi-style mainsheet system that keeps the cockpit clear and functional. A removable stainless steel bowsprit is integrated with anchor fittings, while a separate sail locker sits forward with optional crew berth access. A folding cockpit table provides flexible entertaining space. The transom garage accommodates a 2.3m inflatable tender, and an electrically operated transom door doubles as a teak-topped bathing platform with stainless steel swim ladder.

This particular example has been used exclusively for racing and sees extensive upgrades beyond the original specifications. The boat carries a complete racing sail inventory with minimal hours, plus a nearly unused set of cruising sails. A carbon fiber garage door reduces weight by approximately 100 kilograms, and additional ballast was added to the keel for enhanced stability. Advanced racing instruments and displays are installed throughout. Carbon shrouds are new as of 2026, and the mast—three years old—is a reinforced special-specification unit designed for demanding conditions.

The yacht's engine has been serviced exclusively by the official shop and kept fully current. The underwater hull receives annual service. The interior, protected during storage and used sparingly for racing, remains in excellent condition.
