2021 Aquila 44 Yacht

The 2021 Aquila 44 is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising with serious attention to self-sufficiency and comfort. Twin 320 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines deliver 18 knots cruising speed and 23 knots maximum, powered by a sail drive system. The boat has run only 230 hours and comes equipped with a 4 kW generator, 1260W solar panel array, water maker producing 170 liters per hour, and diesel heating—all designed to minimize shore dependence. A bow thruster and electric windlass with remote control round out the propulsion and anchoring systems.

The three-cabin, three-head layout provides comfortable accommodations for extended voyages. The master and two guest cabins each have cabin fans and full-length mirrors. The galley includes electric cooktop, oven, microwave, deep-freeze refrigerator, and grill with stainless steel reflector. A hardtop flybridge with stainless supports shelters the helm and social area, while the aft cockpit features synthetic teak-colored decking and an electric davit rated for 300 kg tender handling.

Navigation and control systems are comprehensive: a Raymarine package with 12-inch Axiom Pro S chartplotter, CPT-S transducer, I70S multifunction display, 63 VHF radio with remote, aft-mounted camera for docking, and Evolution autopilot with P70 rotary display. Additional equipment includes a 3.45-meter Highfield tender with 20 hp Honda outboard, inverter-charger, satellite dish, underwater and spotlight lighting, fresh water deck wash, and a complete mooring kit.
