The 2021 Bali 5.4 Open Space is a 55-foot sailing catamaran built from full composite construction with a closed-cell foam core, combining structural efficiency with reduced hull weight. Powered by twin 160 hp Yammer diesel engines, the boat features a 24-meter aluminum mast and carries 202 square meters of sail area—a square top mainsail, self-tacking jib, and genoa on a short bowsprit. The hull design, developed by Catana Group, incorporates chined underwater transitions and wider sections for buoyancy while maintaining adequate bridge deck clearance.
The interior spans over 128 square meters of living space arranged across five cabins accommodating ten guests, plus two additional crew cabins. The layout includes a master suite with en-suite bathroom accessible from the aft cockpit, three double guest cabins, and a twin cabin. Two 615-liter refrigerators, a fully equipped U-shaped galley, and a helm station occupy the main saloon, which opens to the aft deck through a hydraulic tilting glass door. A large fixed bimini on the upper deck shades ample seating and provides 360-degree views.
The boat features seven heads throughout, electric winches for sail handling, flexi-teak decking, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a hydraulic bathing platform at the stern. The solid foredeck accommodates various activities and gathering space. An upper helm completes the wheelhouse setup. The yacht was named Multihull of the Year in 2019.
