The 2021 Competition 31 is a center console built on a deep V fiberglass hull with a nine-foot beam, powered by twin Yamaha F300 engines. The motors carry just 469 hours and feature hydraulic power-assist steering, electronic shift, and a single Yamaha digital touchscreen gauge integrated with the Garmin system. The hull sides are white with a deep blue gelcoat bottom finished without paint.
The boat features a factory fiberglass hardtop with matching blue underside gelcoat and powder-coated aluminum frame, equipped with rod tip access ports and spreader lights. The console and leaning post are built from fiberglass with a deluxe design including dual foot rests, four cup holders, fold-down tackle prep area, and large dual-door tackle storage. A Frigid-Rigid slide-out cooler sits forward of the console, with another Frigid-Rigid cooler that converts to a seat; the split console door allows access to battery switches without moving the cooler. The boat includes 360-degree combing pads, 21 gunnel rod holders, eight side console rod holders, 11 total rod holders, and Taco outriggers.
Storage and operational features include a forward coffin box with cushion, dual transom live bait wells, and a trolling motor with dedicated battery charging. A folding integrated swim ladder is located under the port bracket. Raw and fresh water washdowns, underwater lights, and a three-side curtain enclosure complete the setup.
Electronics include dual Garmin 8612 units, an Airmar B175M transducer (85–135 kHz), Garmin xHD2 radar, Garmin Reactor autopilot, Garmin VHF, and a Fusion Audio stereo with Bluetooth and satellite-ready capability, paired with six JL Audio speakers and dual JL Audio amplifiers. A 2019 dual-axle all-marine trailer is included.
