The 2021 Hewes Redfisher 21 is a 21.5-foot center console flats boat built with vacuum-assisted resin infusion for a rigid, durable hull. It's powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha SHO VMAX engine with 120 hours and reaches a top speed of 62 mph, with a cruising speed of 30 mph. The flared bow design delivers a dry ride even in rough conditions. The boat sits on an aluminum dual-axle Ameritrail trailer fitted with four stainless steel disc brakes, new wheel bearings, and new 8-ply HD tires.
The deck layout prioritizes fishing with huge casting platforms, walkaround gunwales, and 18 rod holders total. A center console with windscreen and grab rail serves as the command center, while an Engel cooler with seat cushion and backrest sits forward. Two recirculating livewells keep bait and catch fresh. Multiple lockable, dry storage compartments run throughout for tackle and gear. A custom swim platform with four-step ladder was added in 2024.
Equipment includes Bennett trim tabs with digital controller, an 8-foot Power Pole with in-dash and remote controls, a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor, and Atlas jack plate. Navigation and fish-finding come from a 12-inch Garmin GPS chartplotter with down and side scan sonar. A 36-volt lithium battery system with built-in charger powers the trolling motor via hands-free foot pedal. Two AGM deep-cycle batteries support house and motor loads. A new bimini top and console cover were added in 2026, along with protective covers for the power pole, engine, and other components.
The boat has been maintained regularly with recent updates including new wheel bearings and tires on the trailer, an upgraded Power Pole controller, and a JVC Bluetooth marine audio system with four speakers. All cushions remain in excellent condition.
