2021 Lagoon 42

This 2021 Lagoon 42 catamaran features three cabins and three heads arranged across a voluminous 42-foot hull with a 25-foot beam. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver 114 horsepower with a cruising speed around 10 knots. The catamaran's generous beam and light displacement provide the stability and interior volume the model is built for, while the fiberglass construction is straightforward and durable.

The interior includes walnut woodwork throughout. The owner's cabin incorporates storage cabinetry in place of a settee. Accommodation is well-appointed with an Onan 13.5 kW generator, reverse cycle air conditioning, electrical fresh water conversion for the heads, and gel battery storage. The galley has a microwave, cockpit refrigerator, and a 26-gallon freezer. USB outlets are installed in the cabin, and a 110-volt 2000-watt inverter supplies onboard power.

The boat is rigged with a Dacron square-top mainsail, Code 0, and pole; folding three-blade propellers reduce drag underway. Deck features include foredeck sun cushions, an electrical maneuvering winch, and a Highfield 340 dinghy with a 20 hp Honda outboard. Navigation equipment comprises dual 12-inch B&G displays at the helm and nav stations, plus a B&G autopilot remote.

Engine services, sail drive inspection, and bottom paint were completed in November 2024. The boat carries gel batteries rather than acid alternatives throughout its electrical systems.
