The 2021 Leopard 43 Powercat is a hybrid catamaran built in fiberglass with a beamwidth of 22 feet, delivering dual-mode propulsion combining diesel and electric power. Twin Yanmar 8LV320 diesel engines produce 320 horsepower each, supplemented by electric pods powered by an onboard 30kWh battery system charged via solar panels, allowing completely silent electric operation. The design prioritizes both performance and sustainability, integrating modern conveniences with capable cruising capability.
Accommodation comprises three cabins with capacity for six guests, plus a convertible saloon table that transforms into an additional twin berth. Two heads serve the interior. The boat features composite teak decking throughout, maintaining durability and aesthetics in a catamaran platform. An electric winch davit system is fitted for water toy and tender deployment.
The flybridge includes an electric grill for al fresco dining, while the interior is equipped with Dometic air conditioning for climate control. Navigation systems center on Raymarine technology, including Axiom chartplotters, integrated fishfinder, and AIS. A Northern Lights 9kW generator and Netgear wifi router complete the onboard systems, supporting both connectivity and independent power generation when needed.
