This 2021 Leopard 53 Powercat is a twin-hull fiberglass catamaran powered by two Yammer diesel engines rated at 740 horsepower, capable of 24 knots at full throttle and 17 knots while cruising. The 53-foot hull spans 25 feet in beam, delivering the stability and interior volume that define the powercat category.

The yacht has been actively maintained by a captain who lives aboard and runs the engines regularly. Recent underwater work includes propeller servicing, bottom paint, new cutlass bearings, and full heat exchanger service with new hoses, clamps, gaskets, and o-rings. Galvanic isolators protect the engine, generator, and air conditioning systems. The power system centers on an 1,800-amp-hour battery bank fed by 4.2 kilowatts of rooftop solar, paired with a 12-volt watermaker that produces 40 gallons per hour. A Cerbo GX Touch display integrates solar, battery, and load monitoring. The tender—an UltraLite 380 with 30-horsepower Tohatsu outboard, GPS, and anchor—is carried in stainless steel chocks on a wide swim platform.

Interior spaces have been fully reupholstered in synthetic leather. The owner's cabin features a custom mattress and a 7-by-5-by-4-foot storage compartment behind the shower with lighting and tie-downs. Additional cooling comes from a 12-volt Mabru unit in the owner's hull and a 17,000 BTU system for the salon and port aft cabin. A forepeak berth with separate head accommodates crew or guests. The flybridge includes an Isenglass-style one-third enclosure, a Dometic chest fridge-freezer, a drinks fridge, and re-waterproofed bow sun pads.

Exterior safety features include stainless steel gates at the sponsons and flybridge, side rails with locking hinges, and non-slip steps. A 45-kilogram stainless anchor on 210 feet of Cromax chain deploys via wireless remote chain counter. Hull Shield on both hulls and a rubber rub rail provide impact protection. Onboard equipment includes a Breville air-fryer oven, ice maker, UV water filter, induction cooktop, handheld VHF, inflatable fenders, and a complete labeled tool and spares kit in a lockable deck box.
