2021 Multiplast Class 40

This 2021 Class 40 was built by Multiplast in France to a design by VPLP Design. Launched in October 2021, the yacht features a full composite hull delivering an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. It is powered by a single Lombardini diesel engine of 36 hp and measures 39.96 feet in length with a beam of 14.76 feet.

Built for offshore racing, the yacht includes a well-protected cockpit and one head. Safety equipment fitted includes a four-person life raft and an EPIRB beacon valid until 2028. The grab bag is equipped with a portable Iridium phone with backup battery, portable VHF, SART radar, and portable GPS.

The yacht has competed in the 2022 Route du Rhum and represents a proven racing platform with high-quality construction and modern composite build standards.
