2024 Catalina 385

The Catalina 385 is a 40-foot cruising sailboat built on hand-laid fiberglass with structural features including a collision bulkhead and reinforced chainplate system. She is powered by a 40 hp Yanmar diesel engine paired with a feathering propeller and fitted with an 8 hp Lewmar bow thruster, making her manageable for single-handed sailing or casual family use while maintaining offshore capability.

Sail handling centers on a Selden SMF Synchronized Main Furling system with electric Genoa furling, allowing both sails to be deployed or stowed from the cockpit without manual halyards or crew assistance. The hardtop dodger with polycarbonate windows and slate Sunbrella bimini create a sheltered deck space. Navigation equipment includes a Garmin 10" GPSMAP chartplotter, open-array radar, Reactor 40 autopilot, and AIS. An AB inflatable dinghy with Torqeedo electric outboard is carried on stainless steel davits.

Below deck, the two-cabin layout accommodates up to six with a forward island queen berth, aft cabin, and convertible settees in the salon. The galley features dual Isotherm refrigeration, a gimballed Force-10 propane stove with oven, and Corian counters. Teak interior finishes and ultra-leather upholstery throughout. An Espar hydronic diesel heating system provides warmth and on-demand hot water. A 2000w Victron inverter/charger with full battery monitoring supports electrical needs, and a Samsung 43" television is installed in the cabin.

Recently serviced in April 2026 with new bottom paint, zincs, full engine service, hull polish, and VariProp maintenance completed.
