2021 Ranger Tugs R-25

The 2021 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass trawler built for comfortable cruising and versatile water use. Powered by a single Yamaha 250 hp outboard engine, it cruises at 21.72 knots and features a planing hull with the builder's Laminar Flow Interrupter technology for responsive cornering. The most distinctive element is the extended swim platform with handrails that run aft of the engine, creating an unobstructed walkway ideal for boarding a dinghy, fishing, accessing low docks, or securing the boat without risk of collision.

The main salon is naturally lit and includes a dinette that seats four and converts into a bed for two. A spacious quarter berth with removable mattress provides additional sleeping space or storage. The galley is fully equipped with an electric and alcohol stovetop, refrigerator-freezer combination, microwave, and sink with hot and cold running water. A private enclosed head with sink completes the day-to-day facilities.

The forward stateroom offers a comfortable sleeping area with a large bed, opening hatches for ventilation, reading lights, and a TV/DVD system. Navigation and monitoring are handled by a Garmin 1242xsv chartplotter with GPS, transducer, and sonar. The boat is designed to be easily trailerable, making it practical for varied cruising grounds and storage options.
