The TRICAT 30 is a 2021 catamaran built using infusion methods, with carbon appendages and linkage arms. At just over 30 feet long and nearly 23 feet in beam, the design offers a wide platform. Power comes from a single Mercury diesel engine rated at 26.82 hp.
The sailing package includes a Dimension Poliant DCX-Line mainsail on Antal rail and cars, a Dimension Poliant DCX-Line jib on a Profurl furler, and an aluminium mast with standard fittings, lazy jacks, and engine support chair. A chart table and navigator's bunk with lee cloths are positioned under the boom.
Interior accommodation features one main cabin with an L-shaped panoramic saloon and galley opposite, plus an ensuite head with toilet, shower, and sink. A separate forward cabin with a double berth sits under the cockpit, and hanging locker space is positioned across from the galley. Creature comforts include 12-volt electrics throughout with LED lighting, masthead and compass lights, a service battery, pressurised water system, and two 70-litre fresh water tanks. A sink and washbasin complete the water setup.
