The 2022 Bali 4.4 Open Space is a 44-foot fiberglass catamaran designed around the brand's signature open-plan living concept. Twin 114 hp Yanmar diesel engines provide propulsion at a cruising speed of 7 knots, while substantial fuel and water tanks—800 and 860 litres respectively—support extended offshore cruising. The hull's beam of nearly 25 feet creates the spacious platform the design is known for.
The defining feature is the garage-style aft door that lifts to merge the main saloon and aft cockpit into a single, level entertaining space with panoramic views. The foredeck replaces traditional trampoline netting with a solid structure and integrated seating and sunbeds for an additional lounge area. A raised flybridge serves as the helm station with good sightlines and surrounding seating, while the main saloon houses a centrally positioned L-shaped galley with full-size refrigeration and storage, and a forward-facing chart table opposite for navigation.
Four cabins are arranged with two doubles in each hull, all featuring queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. The layout sleeps up to eight guests in naturally lit and well-ventilated spaces with generous storage throughout. Four heads serve the accommodation.
Sailing controls are concentrated at the helm, with the mast set aft to accommodate a larger self-tacking headsail, keeping handling straightforward. Abundant storage in the forepeaks and under seating complements the main cabin lockers. The boat embodies a modern cruising design balancing comfort, practicality, and performance.
