2022 Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 Catamaran

The 2022 Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 is a four-cabin, four-head catamaran built in fiberglass with twin 120-horsepower Volvo diesel engines and three-blade folding propellers. The design delivers the beam and stability characteristic of the catamaran hull form, with 44 feet of length and nearly 25 feet of beam. Notable upgrades include a 12-kilowatt Northern Lights generator with soundproofing, 3 × 165-watt solar panels mounted on the hardtop, an Aquabase water maker, and a Mantus 85 anchor system. The boat carries a 10-person life raft, radar, dual VHF stations with AIS, and a full suite of cruising equipment.

The accommodation plan centers on a spacious saloon with a convertible table-to-bed, panoramic windows, and a galley opening to the cockpit via a sliding bay. The galley includes a three-burner stove, gas oven, pressurized hot and cold water, and substantial cold-storage capacity. Four cabins offer island beds in both the aft and forward staterooms, each with hanging storage and reading lights. Four separate heads include electric freshwater toilets and hot-water showers with electric drainage.

Deck features include a gennaker with top-down furling gear, electric windlass with 1500 watts, electric davit winch, and auto-reefing on the first two reef points at the helm. The mast and boom are anodized aluminum with ball-bearing luff cars, complete standing rigging, and multiple clutches. The electrical system runs twin 115-amp alternators, substantial battery banks, and a 12,000-watt inverter-charger. Interior lighting throughout is LED, with pressurized seawater and freshwater systems, seven cabin fans, and galvanic isolation protection.

The boat has been professionally maintained and is outfitted with upgraded interior upholstery, custom stainless steel galley fiddles, a Fusion audio system with Bluetooth, and an electric helm wheel lock. A 2025 Highfield CL340 tender with Yamaha motor is included.
