The 2022 Bali 4.4 Open Space is a 44-foot catamaran built around an innovative design philosophy that merges indoor and outdoor living. The signature aft-tilting door and forward cockpit access dissolve the boundary between the expansive saloon and cockpit, creating one unified social space. The fiberglass hull features infused PVC foam sandwich construction with anti-osmotic vinylester protection below the waterline, twin profiled keels, and reinforced bulkheads throughout the deck structure.
The three-cabin owner's layout dedicates the entire port hull to a spacious owner's suite with an island double berth, large ensuite bathroom with separate shower, dressing table, desk, sofa, and abundant wardrobe storage. The starboard hull houses two guest cabins, each with a double berth and private ensuite bathroom. The open-plan saloon is flooded with light through panoramic windows and includes a large lounge area, convertible dining table, club corner with minibar, and a fully equipped L-shaped galley with dishwasher, four-burner stove, large oven, and integrated washer-dryer.
Exterior spaces are generous and well-appointed: a large flybridge helm station with panoramic seating and hardtop, forward cockpit with lounge and sunbathing areas, extensive flybridge cushions and sunpads, aft platform connecting the transoms, electric tender lift davits, and gas plancha. Two Yanmar diesel engines power the boat, supported by a reinforced square-top mainsail, genoa with UV protection, self-tacking solent system, spinnaker kit with bowsprit, and electric winches for headsails and halyards with automatic reefing.
Onboard systems emphasize autonomy and comfort: an 11 kW soundproofed generator, 240 litres-per-hour watermaker, freshwater purification system, large service battery bank, 60-litre hot water heater, and inverter-charger system. Navigation includes Raymarine electronics with plotter, autopilot, and VHF, complemented by Fusion Hi-Fi sound system with six Bluetooth speakers.
