The 2022 Boston Whaler 420 Outrage is a 42.5-foot sportfishing boat powered by three Mercury 600 hp V12 outboards delivering 1,800 hp combined. The boat has approximately 195–200 engine hours and recently completed a full 200-hour service. All three engines have been upgraded with Mercury GEN 3 components backed by a one-year parts warranty. The boat runs with Joystick Piloting and SmartCraft VesselView integration, Dynamic Running Surface with automatic trim tabs, and a Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer with roughly 180 hours of use.
The helm features upgraded glass-bridge displays, a 55-inch open-array radar, LED lighting, and a spotlight. Helm seating accommodates six and converts to face forward or aft. An electric Sunbrella sunshade covers the cockpit, and SeaDek covers the deck surfaces. The boat carries 700 gallons of fuel, 60 gallons of fresh water, and 20 gallons of holding capacity. A half tuna tower is integrated into the design.
Below deck, a V-berth cabin offers approximately 7 feet of headroom and an enclosed head with VacuFlush toilet and rain shower. An aft convertible bench seat is also provided. The fiberglass hull measures 13 feet at the beam with a bridge clearance of 12.42 feet.
