The 2022 Scout 425 LXF is a 42-foot composite sportfish powered by four Mercury 400 hp engines delivering 1,600 total horsepower. The yacht cruises at 45 knots and reaches a top speed of 65 knots. With approximately 500 hours on each engine and just 100 hours of owner use since purchase in 2023, the powerplants remain under warranty through July 2026 with no reported issues.

The exterior wears a gloss black finish with light grey upholstery throughout. The yacht is lift-kept with no bottom paint. A SeaKeeper gyro stabilizer comes standard and remains under warranty. The leaning post features an electrically-actuated fiberglass cooler drawer, and the aft deck includes a summer kitchen with grill, sink, and cutting board. Second-row seating and swivel barstools that stow away complete the social configuration.

The full manufacturer warranty covers the hull and structure for ten years from build. The boat has been maintained with regular detailing every two weeks and cushions are kept covered from the sun. It is lift-kept with no bottom paint applied.
