The 2022 Eastward Horizon 3000 is a 30-foot fiberglass catamaran center console built for serious offshore fishing. Twin Mercury 250 V8 engines with approximately 1,300 hours deliver strong performance, cruising efficiently at 30–35 mph on 1.5 mpg and reaching a top speed of 48 mph. Lower units were replaced around 500 hours with Mercury spacers under warranty. All service is current, and a full 300-hour service was completed at 1,200 hours, along with replacement of both bilge pumps and both starting batteries within the last month.
Navigation and electronics include dual Simrad 12-inch multifunction displays, radar, and a Garmin Kraken 90-inch trolling motor powered by an Abyss 36V lithium battery. A Fusion stereo with six Kicker speakers, night vision camera, fresh and raw water washdown, and a 450-quart coffin box round out the onboard equipment. Two 140-gallon fuel tanks provide excellent range for extended offshore runs.
The boat rides on an aluminum trailer with spread axle, 16-ply tires, and electric-over-hydraulic brakes. A straightforward, no-frills fishing platform designed for trailering and day-to-day Gulf operations.
