The 2022 Fountaine Pajot MY5 is a 40-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 diesel engines totaling 600 horsepower. The hull measures nearly 20 feet across the beam, providing the stability and volume typical of the catamaran design. The yacht was built to the Gold Version specification, which encompasses an extensive list of systems and equipment throughout.

Three cabins and two heads form the sleeping and sanitary core. The layout includes a saloon with an electric convertible coffee table that transforms into a dining surface, and an outdoor cockpit. The galley is equipped with two induction cooktops, a combination microwave-oven, dishwasher, and separate refrigeration units including a wine cooler for 23 bottles and an ice maker. A washing machine rounds out the domestic systems.

The flybridge is an extended living space, featuring a helm station with twin joysticks, a dining table, kitchen furniture, refrigerator, and electric grill. An aft hydraulic platform with teak decking accommodates water sports and boarding. Navigation is handled by dual 12-inch GARMIN displays with autopilot, IPS pilot integration, AIS, and VHF, plus aft camera. A 3000-watt charger-inverter, 8-kilowatt generator, three solar panels, and a 40,000 BTU air conditioning system support extended cruising.
