The Dragonfly 40 is a composite trimaran built for accessible, short-handed sailing. Its design prioritizes ease of handling without compromising on space or comfort, featuring a wide, well-appointed cockpit and a contemporary interior that works equally well for coastal cruising or extended offshore passages. The boat is engineered to carry a crew of six to eight.
The Dragonfly 40 is offered in four configurations. The Touring model comes with a self-tacking jib for straightforward operation. The Ultimate adds a taller rig and larger overlapping furling headsail for stronger performance. The Carbon Ultimate incorporates carbon fiber throughout to reduce weight and enhance efficiency. The Carbon Performance version pairs carbon construction with an even taller mast and a more aggressive sail plan for maximum speed and responsiveness.
This is a new boat, currently under construction and scheduled for completion in early 2028. It is powered by a single diesel engine.
