The 2022 Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47 is a 47-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Volvo Penta D2-60F diesel engines (60 hp each, 810 and 715 hours respectively) turning folding propellers through saildrive units. She sleeps six across three cabins and has three electric heads. Recent upgrades include a new Highfield CL380 tender with 25 hp Yamaha outboard, along with significant electrical system improvements: a 900 Ah lithium battery bank installed December 2025 paired with 1,700 watts of integrated solar panels, new Victron distribution and charging components, and a Starlink marine internet system. Navigation equipment includes new Garmin 8410 chart plotter at the helm, Garmin 8412 in the salon, and new Garmin Fantom 18 radar.
The catamaran accommodates cruising comfort through three cabins with individual air conditioning, a Splendide washer-dryer installed January 2025, and dual refrigeration systems—an Isotherm unit in the salon plus a Vitrifrigo in the cockpit with new ice maker. The galley includes a three-burner LPG stove and oven plus a transom grill. A watermaker producing 65 liters per hour supports extended offshore passages, while a new Bauer Oceanis dive compressor with fill station reflects the boat's active use profile.
On deck, she carries North Sails including a Code Zero on the factory bowsprit, a full-batten main with lazy jacks and three reefing points, and a genoa on furler. Winch layout includes both manual and electric options—a Lewmar 50 manual self-tailer and electric Lewmar 50 and 55 self-tailers at the helm, plus a 50 electric gennaker winch. A Quick 1500W electric windlass handles ground tackle, with a 40 kg Rocna anchor, 200 feet of chain, and 150 feet of rode. The helm and cockpit feature a full enclosure with shades and bimini, while synthetic teak covers working surfaces and the sundeck lounge.
The boat was lived aboard for the past year and a half, during which time all systems saw regular use and maintenance. Recent work includes A/C service and deck sealant replacement; scheduled for Q1 2026 are engine and generator servicing, bottom paint, saildrive seals, and watermaker membranes. She carries a six-person life raft, multiple fire extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectors. A Trident remote valve system controls critical seacocks from the salon.
