2022 Helmsman Trawlers 37 Sedan

The 2022 Helmsman Trawlers 37 Sedan is a fiberglass trawler powered by a single Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine rated at 480 horsepower, with approximately 250 hours of operation. The hull is finished in Kingston Gray with Matterhorn White superstructure and Kingston Gray nonskid decking. The design centers on practical cruising capability combined with contemporary comfort and onboard technology.

The boat features a single stateroom with ensuite head and shower, alongside a full salon with galley and navigation stations. The galley includes a Miele two-burner propane cooktop, Samsung convection microwave, and Novakool refrigerator and freezer with stainless steel panels, all set beneath Alpine Mist Caesarstone countertops with backsplash. A Webasto AT-55 diesel heater and Torrid 10-gallon water heater support year-round comfort. The flybridge offers a U-shaped settee with table and starboard helm station, topped with a canvas cover and bimini. Four flexible solar panels are mounted on the flybridge bimini to supplement the electrical system.

Propulsion and maneuvering are supported by trim tabs and twin Sidepower bow and stern thrusters (SE80 and SE60). The electrical plant includes five house batteries totaling 1085 amp-hours at 12 volts, a Victron 3000VA inverter charger with CerboGX and Touch display, and dual 30-amp shore power inlets with isolation transformers. Navigation electronics feature Garmin multifunction displays at upper and lower helm stations integrated with radar, chartplotter, and echosounder capability; a Vesper Cortex VHF with AIS; and Starlink connectivity. The boat carries a 11-foot Walker Bay 325 STXH tender equipped with a Garmin GPS, 20 hp Tohatsu outboard, and steering console. Deck systems include a Nick Jackson 650-pound davit, Magma rail-mounted SUP and kayak racks, and a Magma marine grill.

The boat has received regular professional maintenance including annual engine service, monthly washing, annual hull and superstructure waxing, annual USCGA inspections, and regular diver-serviced hull anodes. A six-person Crewsaver Mariner Mk2 liferaft is included, along with complete safety equipment, fenders with covers, mooring gear, and comprehensive cruising documentation.
