2022 Hewescraft 240 Ocean Pro ET Hardtop

The 2022 Hewescraft 240 Ocean Pro ET Hardtop is a 26-foot aluminum fishing runabout powered by twin Yamaha engines: a 250 horsepower main motor and a 9.9 horsepower kicker. The boat features an extended fishing cockpit with seven additional inches of usable deck space compared to earlier models, achieved through a longer hull, repositioned console, and shortened bow. The design includes a raised gunwale rail, easy-drain deck, and forward storage to support serious fishing operations.

The hardtop cabin offers comfortable seating with an improved driving position and enhanced legroom. The open fishing area benefits from under-bow storage and thoughtful layout. A 100-gallon fuel tank supports extended range, and three batteries with offshore charging capability provide robust electrical power for extended trips.

Electronics and equipment reflect a well-appointed fishing platform. Dual Simrad touchscreen displays—a 12-inch helm unit and 9-inch fishing deck unit—connect via network to share sonar data from a Totalscan transducer. The system also includes a Simrad autopilot, 24-inch radar, and AIS VHF radio. Fishing-specific gear includes two Scott downrigger units with power plugs on each gunwale, an extra 100-amp power outlet for electric crab equipment, and a custom davit kit rated for over 3,000 pounds.
