The 2022 J/112E is a Grand Prix edition racing-cruiser built on a composite hull with a lead keel in optimized profile. The boat was launched at the end of 2022 and has completed three seasons of light cruising and local regattas. The yacht presents in very good condition throughout.
The rigging and sail plan reflect the boat's racing pedigree. A tapered high-modulus carbon fibre mast with double airfoil spreaders and matt black finish carries a complete sail inventory including main, three jibs, gennaker, and three asymmetric sails. The mast features a hydraulic system for shroud tension adjustment. Halyards and sheets are racing-grade dyneema, with a Harken Tuff Luff forestay and jib roller furler. A retractable bowsprit, Windex, and maincover complete the package.
Accommodation sleeps six across two cabins and the saloon. The forward cabin offers a large double berth with storage, LED lighting, and USB power. An aft starboard quarter berth provides additional berths. A spacious head with electric toilet and shower is positioned to port, with a storage locker accessible from both interior and cockpit. The chart table with seat sits centrally. The galley includes a stove, sink, cool box, and fridge, fed by a 100-litre fresh water tank.
The Volvo Penta D1-30 saildrive engine runs on an 85-litre diesel tank and has approximately 261 hours. A Raymarine electronics suite includes a multifunction 7-inch chart plotter, dual I70s screens with transceiver, autopilot, wind and depth instruments, AIS, and MOB system. Deck features include electric windlass, large sprayhood, gas-spring assisted cockpit and anchor locker lids, and a cockpit shower with hot and cold water.
