2022 Lagoon 42

This 2022 Lagoon 42 is a fiberglass sailing catamaran built with a three-cabin owner's layout plus two crew cabins in the bow. The yacht measures 42 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, offering the broad platform characteristic of modern multihulls. Power comes from a pair of Yanmar 4JH57 diesel engines producing 57 horsepower each, fitted with three-blade folding propellers. A Highfield CL340 tender with 20 HP outboard engine and integrated hoist system completes the propulsion setup.

The accommodation spans five separate cabins with three heads. The starboard hull houses the owner's master cabin with ensuite bathroom and separate shower, while the port hull contains a VIP cabin with ensuite head and shower plus a guest cabin with ensuite. The two crew cabins occupy the bow compartments with mattresses, 12V USB sockets, and opening deck hatches and windows. The saloon includes a double berth and sits as the central living space.

Sail equipment includes a square-top Dacron mainsail with lazy bag, self-tacking jib, and Code 0 sail in Mylar with rig and pole. An electrical maneuver winch handles sail operations. A hard-top Bimini with side canvas covers the helm station.

The yacht carries comprehensive systems: a fully automated watermaker producing 100 liters per hour, an 11 kVA Onan generator, 48,000 BTU Dometic air-conditioning with individual cabin controls, and a 2000VA 12V/220V inverter. Navigation and communication equipment includes B&G Halo20+ radar, 500 Transceiver AIS, autopilot with remote control, 12-inch chartplotter, and V100 VHF. Comfort features encompass a Samsung washing machine with dryer, electric sea water toilets, microwave grill, three refrigerators totaling over 370 liters, cabin fans, and a Fusion audio system with saloon and cockpit speakers. Cushioning is provided throughout, including sun-lounger pads and protective canvas covers.
