2020 Lagoon 42

This 2020 Lagoon 42 is a modern catamaran with twin 90-horsepower Yammer diesel engines showing under 180 hours of use. The boat features upgraded folding propellers, a Northern Lights generator with only 130 hours, and comprehensive electronics including a full B&G chart plotter with tri-data display, radar, autopilot, and AIS. The sail plan comprises a performance square-top mainsail, furling gennaker, and furling jib with lazy bag and lazy jacks, managed by electric winches. Additional systems include air conditioning throughout the saloon and three cabins, a 100-liter-per-hour water maker, and Fusion stereo speakers in the cockpit, saloon, and bow.

The design emphasizes open living spaces and flow. A single continuous level extends from the aft platform into the saloon through a full-width glazed door. The suspended transom steps create an expansive platform for boarding and lounging. Below deck, the three-cabin layout offers island double beds in the aft cabins and a forward cabin with side access berths. Both aft cabins include ensuite bathrooms with separate showers. Large windows throughout the cabins and vertical glazing in the coach roof flood the interior with natural light. The U-shaped galley sits oriented toward the external cockpit with ample work surfaces and storage.

On deck, the helm station sits at the coach roof bulkhead with a sliding-panel bimini and safety closure panel, providing clear sightlines to the sails. The self-tacking jib and aft-positioned mast centralize all sail operations. An AB Inflatables 10-foot dinghy with a 20-horsepower Suzuki motor is included, showing less than five hours of operation.
