The 2022 Moody Decksaloon 54 is a 56-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built around a distinctive deck saloon design that maximizes natural light and 360-degree sightlines. Its 17-meter hull pairs a responsive sailing platform with robust seaworthiness, powered by a Volvo D3 diesel engine of 150 hp and equipped with both bow and stern thrusters for confident handling in confined spaces.

Accommodation comprises four cabins—two doubles and two singles finished in teak—with three heads distributed throughout. The expansive saloon flows openly into the cockpit, creating flexible space for entertaining or quiet passage. Systems support extended cruising: a 900-liter fuel tank, 325-liter freshwater capacity, three black water tanks, a 200-liter-per-hour water maker, and a 12 kW Fischer Panda generator. Climate control includes 48,000 Btu air conditioning, and the galley houses both refrigeration and a gas stove with electric oven alongside a washing machine and dishwasher.

Navigation and sailing equipment reflect serious offshore capability. The yacht carries Raymarine electronics including dual 9-inch plotters, Quantum 2 radar, autopilot with remote control, and Quick windlass with chain counter. Sails are electric in-mast reefing mainsail and furling genoa by Quantum Sails on a Selden mast. Eight 160-amp AGM service batteries, Mastervolt inverters, and 1,340-watt solar panels on the hardtop provide electrical resilience.

Deck features include a teak surface throughout, electric swimming platform, electric gangway, and a retractable hardtop with bimini cover the cockpit.
