The 2022 Seawind 1160 is a lightweight catamaran designed for efficient cruising and easy handling. At 38 feet with a 21-foot beam, this fiberglass hull offers the stability and spaciousness of a multihull in a relatively compact package. Twin 50-horsepower Yamaha gasoline engines provide propulsion, and the boat features dual helms for flexible steering positions. The air draft is compatible with Intracoastal Waterway heights.
The interior includes three staterooms and one head, offering sleeping arrangements suitable for small families or extended cruising partnerships. Layout and cabin configurations follow Seawind's proven design for the 1160 model.
This boat has accumulated 140 engine hours since commissioning and has been maintained throughout its time in service. Recent upgrades include a 1.25-kilowatt solar array, 1320-amp-hour lithium iron phosphate battery bank, a 3-kilowatt inverter/charger, and a 2.8-kilowatt portable generator. Additional equipment includes a 20-horsepower outboard tender engine, a 1-kilowatt electric bike, fresh bottom paint, new mattresses, and aft deck cushions.
