2022 Tofinou 9.7

The Tofinou 9.7 is a 2022 composite sailing yacht built for serious coastal performance. At just under 32 feet with a nearly 10-foot beam, this first-owner boat combines a carbon mast and retractable fin keel with a 15 hp Yammer diesel engine. The design emphasizes clean handling and efficient sail management through dual-rudder construction and extensive modern rigging hardware.

The boat is outfitted with professional-grade control systems throughout. Two electric Harken 40ST winches handle the jib sheets, supplemented by a pair of Harken 35ST winches for trim and maneuvers. The main boom is fitted with a cockpit-mounted track and Karver jammers on both sides. Sails—a One Sails mainsail with membrane 4FORTE technology, a One Sails self-tacking jib, North Sails asymmetric spinnaker, and North Sails Code 0—are all recent (2022). The carbon standing rigging uses Dyform cable; running rigging is Dyneema throughout. A Raymarine autopilot pairs with B&G navigation displays, including a 9-inch multifunction screen at the mast and a 7-inch GPS unit in the cockpit.

Power and systems include a Victron battery controller managing two 75 Ah Optima service batteries and a 12V charger. Navigation electronics are rounded out with electronic chart display and a B&G NAC-2 autopilot hub. Standard coastal safety equipment for six is onboard, along with a primary anchor, mooring lines, and fenders. The tiller features a mahogany tiller and Ronstan Battle Stick. Foresail lazy-jacks and automatic reefing points aid single-handed sailing, while removable coachroof panels allow unrestricted access to lines and halyards.
