2023 Back Cove 34O

The 2023 Back Cove 34O is a downeast cruiser built on a resin-infused fiberglass hull with foam core construction. Powered by twin Mercury Verado 400 engines with 210 hours of operation, the yacht combines seaworthy design with well-appointed systems. The hull is finished in black Awlgrip paint over factory gelcoat, with teak accent stripes and a molded cove stripe, while the deck features anti-skid surfaces, stainless steel railings, and teak accents on the cabin side.

The helm deck offers excellent visibility through clear anodized aluminum windows with opening side and center panes. A Lewmar hatch with integrated Oceanair skyscreen provides natural light and ventilation. Navigation and docking are managed through a Garmin electronics package including the GPSMAP 8616xsv, radar, AIS, and autopilot. The yacht is equipped with a Mercury Joystick System featuring electric power steering and Skyhook station-keeping capability, plus a bow thruster for close-quarters maneuvering. A Seakeeper 3 gyro stabilizer dampens hull motion underway.

The cabin features varnished cherry interior trim with an island double berth, storage lockers, and a cedar-lined hanging locker. The galley is appointed with a Kenyon electric cooktop, GE microwave, stainless steel sink, and two Vitrifrigo refrigerator drawers. The head includes a separate shower stall and macerator-equipped MSD holding tank system. Accommodations include 16,000 BTU air conditioning in the helm deck and 8,000 BTU in the cabin, each with reverse-cycle heat. The salon features a convertible dinette with an inlaid table and electrical outlets throughout.

This yacht was lightly used as a day boat and has undergone recent service. An 8-kilowatt diesel generator with fewer than 10 hours of operation provides onboard power generation. A carbon fiber cockpit sun shade expands outdoor living space, while the comprehensive canvas package includes side windows, cockpit covers, and windshield protection. Fresh water systems include a 250-gallon fuel tank, pressurized hot and cold water, an 11-gallon water heater, and an 8-gallon holding tank. Twin 4D lithium house batteries were installed in 2026, with upgraded electrical panels and a 60-amp battery charger managing power distribution.
