2023 Bavaria C42

The Bavaria C42 is a 42-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2023. The boat features a distinctive Bavaria hull design with pronounced chines and a V-shaped bow that enhance both interior volume and sailing performance. The angular stern profile creates additional space in the aft cabins while providing good steering feedback and stability throughout the boat's length.

Below deck, the C42 offers a three-cabin, two-head layout. The master cabin features a double berth with an ensuite head, while two twin aft cabins also have double berths. The main salon is finished in mahogany with Ocean Line flooring and is bright and airy thanks to large hull windows and Opus artificial leather upholstery. The L-shaped galley is fully equipped with a three-burner stove, oven, microwave, and front-loading refrigerator. Two separate air conditioning units provide climate control throughout.

On deck, the yacht is set up for straightforward handling with a furling mainsail, electric anchor windlass, and teak-finished cockpit and bathing platform. Navigation and autopilot are handled by a B&G system featuring a Zeus³S chart plotter. Power comes from a single 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, making the boat well-suited for intracoastal cruising.
