A 2023 Catana Ocean Class, a performance bluewater cruising catamaran designed by Olivier Poncin. Built with carbon-infused fiberglass construction, the hull benefits from composite daggerboards with electric operation and a range of 1.39 to 2.52 meters draft. Power comes from twin Yanmar 4JH80 diesel engines—the largest option available—paired with Saildrive gearboxes and MaxProp four-bladed propellers. An Axxon carbon mast, Harken deck gear and electric winch package, and a full suite of sails including mainsail, genoa, Code 0, parasailor, and storm jib round out the sailing equipment.
The interior features a three-cabin, two-head layout with the owner's cabin to port, each head having its own separate compartment. A GN Espace electric galley includes an induction hob and oven, with additional appliances for a washer/dryer, microwave, and separate fridge and freezer. Air conditioning by Frigomar provides climate control throughout. Navigation and monitoring systems include a Raymarine package with dual displays, solid-state radar, autopilot, AIS, and VHF, plus a digital control panel at the chart table.
The specification extends to comprehensive systems for extended cruising: a 12.5-kilowatt diesel generator, 400-ampere hour lithium service battery bank with 1,770 watts of solar panels and a three-kilowatt inverter, a water-making system, and full black and grey water treatment. Exterior features include teak in the aft cockpit, composite helm wheel, electric mooring windlasses, davits with powered winch, retractable bowthruster, and underwater LED lighting. A Starlink antenna and Fusion Bluetooth stereo complete the equipment list.
