2023 Contender 44 ST

The 2023 Contender 44 ST is a 43-foot sportfish yacht powered by four Yamaha 425 XTO engines delivering 1,700 horsepower combined. With 260 hours on the engines and factory warranty coverage through 2028, the yacht is built on a fiberglass hull with a 12-foot beam. The design balances serious fishing capability with comfortable cruising potential.

Onboard systems include a Yamaha autopilot with full-function joystick control and a Seakeeper ride system for stability. Navigation and communication are handled by twin 24-inch Garmin displays, twin Garmin VHF radios, Garmin Open Array radar, a GXM54 Sirius weather receiver, and FLIR night vision. Entertainment features a Fusion stereo with JL Audio speakers and subwoofers. Shore power and electric reel outlets are supported by 30-amp service.

The fishing layout includes an enclosed transom with triple livewells, Gemlux outrigger bases fitted with 22-foot collapsible poles, under-gunnel rod racks, saltwater and freshwater washdowns, and tackle storage with a cooler slide at the leaning post. An extended hardtop with stadium seating and speaker pods provides shade and visibility. The cabin offers recessed forward seating with coaming pads, an M-series coffin lounge, and an M-series leaning post with Bentley-stitched upholstery throughout.

Additional features include a side dive door for water access, windlass anchor, full powder-coated aluminum package, and both underwater and under-gunnel lighting systems.
